I read Sabriel by Garth Nix for the first time this week which was a bizarre experience because I definitely read Lirael when I was a kid but I guess I didn’t care about reading things in order or finishing series because I never read Sabriel. Anyway, I love Moggett and the world-building was cool.

Okay now I’m very confused because I was convinced that I had never read Sabriel by Garth Nix but I was digging through the depths of my google drive and found a book review of Witchlanders by Lena Coakley that I wrote for class in 2013 where I compared it to Sabriel by Garth Nix, the Books of Bayern by Shannon Hale, Mistwood by Leah Cypess, and the Chanters of Tremaris series by Kate Constable and I know I read all of those others books so maybe I just read it so long ago that I didn’t remember anything about it? Weird! I’m usually good at remembering what books I've read, even ones I read ages ago.
#a mystery!#I didn't keep very good track of the books I read until like 2016#lulu speaks#my life#lulu reads#sabriel#lulu reads sabriel#the old kingdom#lulu reads the old kingdom#also mist wood by leah cypess was sooooooo influential on my when I was a kid dang
